Proctoring Services

Due to current COVID-19 precautions and restrictions, ECC is unable to offer proctoring services to students of any other colleges at this time.

Edgecombe Community College provides proctoring services to students who attend Edgecombe Community College as well as students from other colleges. Exams must be scheduled three (3) business days before the actual exam date.  ECC students can make an appointment by contacting the Tutoring Center located on either campus or by contacting the Tutoring Center coordinator.

Non-ECC students attending any of the 17 UNC System colleges/universities must schedule an appointment using UNC Online. Through this site, students will be able to select a preferred date and time to take an exam. Students will be prompted to log in using the credentials from the college or university they are attending. Please visit online.northcarolina.edu or call  (844) 334-3182 for assistance with any exam proctoring network issues.

Proctoring Service Guidelines for Students:

  • Be aware of the time allotted to take your exams and keep track of the time.
  • Be aware of and follow the Student Code of Conduct.
  • Cell phones and other electronic devices are not permitted in the testing area. (Students will be prompted to place such items in a secure area during testing. Items will be returned once students have finished testing.)
  • If unusual circumstances occur, please contact the Tutoring Center or the Tutoring Center coordinator as soon as possible. Proctoring services are available Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
