ECC Foundation Golf Tournament Supports Scholarships
The Edgecombe Community College Foundation’s 36th Annual Golf Tournament raised more than $26,000 for student scholarships at Edgecombe Community College.
The tournament was held September 27 at Maccripine Country Club in Macclesfield. Thirty-two teams competed in the tournament, which is the largest fundraiser held by the ECC Foundation.
“It was picture-perfect weather, the players enjoyed a great day of golf, and the volunteers were tremendous,” says Lynwood Roberson, executive director of the ECC Foundation. “The golfers have a great time, and our students are the beneficiaries. It’s a win-win event for everyone.
“We are grateful for the support of so many, including the sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who made our 36th Annual Golf Tournament a tremendous success.”
