ECC Gets into the Halloween Spirit

ECC students enjoyed games, inflatables, painting, henna, line dancing and even a mechanical bull ride during the annual Fall Fest. The event was held Wednesday, Nov. 5 on the Rocky Mount campus and Thursday, Nov. 6 on the Tarboro campus.
As a part of ECC’s Halloween festivities, there was also a Halloween Costume Contest held Wednesday, Oct. 29 in Rocky Mount and Thursday, Oct. 30 in Tarboro. Congratulations to all of the winners, including:
- Best Faculty Costume- Ami Denton (A group of seven from the nursing faculty dressed up as the Emotions from the movie, “Inside Out”).
- Best Student Costume-Jeremy Snyder as the Jason Vorhees Spaghetti Monster
- Best Student Costume-Ta’nijah Hall as Draculaura
- Best Handmade Student Costume- Jordan McLeod as Blade
- Best Handmade Student Costume- Tamia Harrison as Wednesday Adaams

Cosmetic Arts students also entered their mannequins in the contest. Winners were:
- Taquazia Ward (1st place)
- Tityana Lawson (2nd place)
- Poreshekia Conyers (3rd place)
All winners received a voucher to the ECC campus store.
