ECC Trustees Elect New Chair and Vice Chair

Dr. Jerry Price and Jessie Jones were recently elected chair and vice chair, respectively, of the Edgecombe Community College Board of Trustees.

Edgecombe Community College trustees recently elected Dr. Jerry Price as chair of the board and Jessie Jones as vice chair.

Dr. Price presided over his first meeting on August 1.

A trustee since 2009, Dr. Price previously served as chair of the Board of Trustees Finance Committee. He is a retired Tarboro dentist.

Jones has been a trustee since 1981 and is the longest serving member of the board. She previously served on the Personnel Committee.

Jones is a retired educator.
