Edgecombe Education Leaders Meet

Dr. Valerie Bridges, superintendent of Edgecombe County Public Schools, and Dr. Greg McLeod, president of Edgecombe Community College, met on Friday and discussed collaborations and training initiatives between the two institutions as well as future partnerships. “Dr. Bridges and I are united in our mission to ensure that all Edgecombe students are equipped with a first-rate education and relevant skills in order that they may lead successful and productive lives, ideally right here in Edgecombe County,” Dr. McLeod says. Dr. Bridges led Dr. McLeod on a tour of several Edgecombe schools, including the Edgecombe Early College High School, Tarboro High School, and North Edgecombe High School, with a future visit to SouthWest Edgecombe High School planned.
