Outstanding Student Receives Free Laptop

Edgecombe Community College student Miccah Tillery was recently awarded a free laptop. An anonymous College faculty member gives a laptop to an outstanding student each year to reward student achievement. Students are nominated by their instructors. Tillery is a student in the Medical Assisting program.

The Edgecombe Community College Foundation awarded scholarships to 150 ECC students during a scholarship awards ceremony held December 12 on the Tarboro campus.
