Employee Participates in Read Across America

Edgecombe Community College staff member Viola Harris participated in Read Across America on Friday, March 1. She read to pre-kindergartners at Coker Wimberly Elementary School in Battleboro (shown above) and to 1st graders at Princeville Elementary School in Tarboro (shown below). Harris, who lives in Tarboro, serves on the Edgecombe County Board of Commissioners.

Eleven Complete Basic Law Enforcement Training

Edgecombe Community College graduated eleven cadets from its Sixth Basic Academy for Basic Law Enforcement Training on February 26. The graduation ceremony featured comments by William Linkous, platoon leader.
