Prospective Students Learn About ECC at Orientation

Nearly 90 students participated in Start @ ECC (Student Transition, Advising and Registration Time). ECC’s new student orientation was held in the Barnhill-Jenkins Center for Innovation on the Tarboro campus. The orientation took place Wednesday, July 16 starting at 5pm. Students met with an academic counselor, registered for classes, learned more about how to succeed, and received tips on how to pay for college. Start @ ECC is a required event for new students. Attendees also played games and enjoyed food from Cam’s Café. Staff were on hand until 9pm getting students registered.
