Radiography Graduates Celebrated at Pinning Ceremony

Eleven students were pinned during Edgecombe Community College’s Radiography Pinning Ceremony held May 8. As of June 8, 11 graduates have tested, and 10 have passed their national certification exam, becoming a registered radiographer and earning the title R.T.(R)(ARRT). This title signifies registered technologist in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. All of the graduates are employed or furthering their education in a post-primary pathway such as CT/MRI (computed tomography/magnetic resonance imaging), mammography, interventional radiography and radiation therapy.
