Edgecombe Community College celebrated its surgical technology graduates with a pinning ceremony on Dec. 12. The six graduates have successfully completed the academic requirements qualifying them to sit for the national certification exam administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
Surgical technologists play a vital role, supporting nurses, surgeons and other healthcare professionals. Their responsibilities center on maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring proper preparation before, during and after surgical procedures.
Congratulations to this year’s surgical technology graduates.
