Agribusiness Students Study Soil

Students in Edgecombe Community College’s Agribusiness Technology program recently learned about soil through the Mobile Soils Classroom trailer. A project of the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division of Soil and Water Conservation, the initiative provides hands-on demonstrations in soil science, soil management, and conservation. Scott Kiser (right), director of the Edgecombe County Soil and Water Conservation District, served as guest lecturer.
