“I truly believe in the vision and mission of the College, and I believe this position will afford me the opportunity to help the College fulfill its mission,” Batten says. “There are many exciting changes taking place in the coming months with the new Center for Innovation and the Kingsboro Training Center. I look forward to working with the staff, faculty, and community to realize the goals of the College.”
In addition to her experience with NC community colleges, Batten has served in accountant capacities with the Town of Selma, NC; the NC Department of Health and Human Services Division of Child Development; The Discovery School in Dickson, Tennessee; and Horizon Medical Center, also in Dickson.
