College Trustee Named to State Association Board

Gloria Wiggins-Hicks, a member of the Edgecombe Community College Board of Trustees, has been named to the Executive Board of the NC Association of Community College Trustees.

Gloria Wiggins-Hicks, a member of the Board of Trustees at Edgecombe Community College, has been named to the Executive Board of the North Carolina Association of Community College Trustees (NCACCT).

She is retired community relations manager of Cummins Rocky Mount Engine Plant.

The NCACCT was founded in 1967 to provide NC community college trustees an organization to further the aims, goals, and development of the state’s community colleges.

The association is composed of the boards of trustees of the 58 community colleges in the state. Total membership in the NCACCT is currently 805.

Wiggins-Hicks has served on the ECC Board of Trustees since 1997. She is a member of its Building and Grounds Committee and is a former vice chair of the board.
