Cosmetology Students Inspired by Dream Boards

Advanced Cosmetology student Crystal Dickens puts finishing touches on her dream board. Cosmetology students have been creating dream boards this fall to inspire them to stay the course in their pursuit of educational goals. Students are completing coursework through a combination of in-person labs and online study. They use the dream boards as encouragement when they are completing online assignments. “Our students learn so much from each other, and learning in an online environment is challenging for them,” says Carolyn Sherrill, Cosmetology program chair. “The dream boards are a reminder that we are all in this together.”
