ECC Foundation to Participate in Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is December 3, and for 24 hours, the Edgecombe Community College Foundation will host a giving campaign to benefit ECC students and our neighbors in need.

According to its website, Giving Tuesday is a “year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.” This year, ECC’s motto is “Together We Give. Together We Share.”

This Giving Tuesday, when you contribute to the ECC Foundation, your money will be placed in a fund to meet the financial needs of students who are faced with an unforeseen obstacle, or to the area of greatest need. A portion of all funds raised on Giving Tuesday will support our sister institution, Mayland Community College in Western N.C. ECC has partnered with a group of other institutions dedicated to supporting Mayland Community College, which was significantly damaged as a result of Hurricane Helene.
