ECC Honor Society Holds Highway Cleanup

Not even Hurricane Ian could stop the traditional fall Adopt-A-Highway cleanup by the Phi Theta Kappa chapter at Edgecombe Community College. The storm delayed the event by a week, but on Saturday, October 8, a group of devoted volunteers gathered nine bags of trash and recyclables. The Alpha Omega Nu chapter at ECC has been responsible for a three-mile stretch of road in front of the Tarboro campus since 2000 and sponsors cleanup events at least twice a year.
