Education & Business Summit targets workforce development

Edgecombe Community College leaders were among the education and business professionals who attended the Twin Counties Education & Business Leaders’ Summit held August 1 on the campus of Nash Community College. ECC participants included (from left) Lynwood Roberson, Dr. Greg McLeod, Sheila Hoskins, Sheryll Wood, Debbie Batten, Dr. Harry Starnes, and Bruce Panneton. NC Secretary of Commerce Tony Copeland delivered the keynote address at the event, which focused on collaborations between Twin County schools, community colleges, and employers.
