Human Services Club Attends National Conference

Two student members of the Edgecombe Community College Human Services Club and the program chair attended the National Organization for Human Services 2015 National Conference in Charlotte held October 21-24.

“This was an outstanding opportunity for our students,” says Reneé Pearson, chair of human services technology and club advisor. “The conference helped to develop them into future human services professionals.”

The conference focused on celebrating diversity among human services clients, students, colleagues, programs, and communities. The theme “Diversity Matters” highlighted the many facets of diversity in human services disciplines.
