Longstanding ECC Trustee Honored

Jessie M. Jones, a 37-year member of the Edgecombe Community College Board of Trustees, stepped down from her position on the board earlier this year. College trustees and employees paid tribute to her during a recent board meeting. Jones, a retired educator, was lauded for her leadership on the board. She served as vice chair of the board from 2017 to 2018, and she also served on the Executive Committee and Personnel Committee, among other contributions. Pictured, Dr. Jerry Price, board chair, presented Jones with a resolution honoring her distinguished service to the College and Edgecombe community.
