Nursing Leader Receives State Educator Award

Congratulations to Ami Denton, program chair and director of the Nursing program at Edgecombe Community College, who received the 2022 Educator of the Year Award from the North Carolina Associate Degree Nursing Council. The award was presented during the council’s spring conference held in April. NCADN Council membership is open to all nursing faculty in associate degree nursing programs in North Carolina community colleges and private institutions. The award was presented to Denton (middle) by Cheryl Logan (left), past president of the NCADN Council, and Camella Marcum (right), president of the NCADN Council.
