Opportunities Offered at ECC Job Fair

Forty employers participated in Edgecombe Community College’s annual Job Fair held Friday, March 21 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. on the Tarboro campus. According to Shaquana Deans-Thorne, ECC recruiter and career services counselor, there were more than 250 job seekers in attendance.

“This event was truly impactful, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our amazing employers, vendors, staff and volunteers,” acknowledged Deans-Thorne. “Their time, effort, and dedication made a real difference for those seeking new opportunities.”

Deans-Thorne gave a special thank you to volunteers from the West Edgecombe Ruritan Club who donated breakfast goodies and managed the Employers’ Lounge.
