A local non-profit and industry recently partnered with Edgecombe Community College to equip College and Career Readiness (CCR) students with skills in manufacturing. Officers Complete Crisis Intervention Training at ECC

Sixteen law enforcement officers completed Crisis Intervention Team training held April 1-5 at Edgecombe Community College. Agencies represented included the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office, Vidant Edgecombe Hospital Police Department, Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, and Wilson Police Department. EastPointe in Rocky Mount facilitated the class.

Honor Society Holds Highway Cleanup

Despite soggy weather on Saturday morning, thirty-eight Edgecombe Community College students and staff donned rain gear to work in the spring Adopt-A-Highway cleanup sponsored by the College’s chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Summer fun begins soon at Edgecombe Community College! Registration is under way for Camp College 2019, ECC’s summer camp program for kids. Greene Central High School ROTC visits ECC

Edgecombe Community College President Dr. Greg McLeod welcomes members of ROTC from Greene Central High School in Snow Hill. The students recently toured the Tarboro and Rocky Mount campuses and participated in program demonstrations including Collision Repair and Refinishing, Cosmetic Arts, Facility Maintenance Worker, Historic Preservation, and Surgical Technology.
