Upward Bound Students Get a Taste of College

Edgecombe Community College recently hosted Saint Augustine’s University Upward Bound Program on its Rocky Mount campus. ECC Team Wins Top Prizes at National Conference

Edgecombe Community College students received national awards last week at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference held in Louisville, Kentucky. ECC and Wesleyan Sign Transfer Agreement

Edgecombe Community College and North Carolina Wesleyan College reauthorized a collaborative articulation agreement last week that will help qualified ECC graduates transfer to Wesleyan. ECC Nursing Instructors Speak at National Conference

Edgecombe Community College Nursing instructors Sarah d’Empaire (left) and Barbara Knopp, program chair and director, spoke at the national Concept-Based Curriculum Symposium held June 2-3 in Charlotte. Their presentation on “Clinical Teaching in a Concept-Based Curriculum” focused on clinical strategies and an evaluation tool designed by d’Empaire that is used at ECC.
