Pitt Community College Symphony Orchestra Performs at ECC October 22
The Pitt Community College Symphony Orchestra will perform a fall concert at Edgecombe Community College on Tuesday, October 22, at 7 p.m.
This concert is the first event in the 2019-2020 season of the Edgecombe Performance Series, which brings world class entertainment to Tarboro and Edgecombe County. Each year, ECC plans a series of performances for the community in a variety of artistic disciplines.
With more than 60 musicians, the Pitt Community College Symphony Orchestra is a collaborative effort between the college and the community to offer an educational orchestra for both students and members of the community.
The philosophy of the orchestra is to bring together musicians from a variety of backgrounds and ability levels. The program is currently in its ninth season, under the direction of Michael Stephenson.
All Performance Series events take place in Keihin Auditorium on the Tarboro campus, located at 2009 West Wilson Street.
The Pitt Community College Symphony Orchestra concert is free to the public, and no tickets are required.
A complete lineup of 2019-2020 performances is available on ECC’s website.
