Prospective Students to Learn About ECC at Enrollment Day

As spring registration gets underway at Edgecombe Community College, prospective students are invited to Get the Edge Enrollment Day. The event is happening Wednesday, Dec. 4 at the Academic Success Centers on ECC’s Tarboro and Rocky Mount campuses.

“Get the Edge Enrollment Day is the perfect opportunity for prospective students to get ahead on their enrollment for Spring 2025,” says Samanthia Phillips, vice president of Student Services at ECC. “They can explore the campus and learn about essential resources, such as Student Services, the Academic Success Center, tutoring, the library, counseling and career services. There will also be an overview of the academic programs offered at ECC and the specific requirements for your chosen major.”

Get the Edge Enrollment Day will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. During that time, participants may also connect with admissions staff who will guide them through the admissions process, review transcripts, and explain how to register for classes. Staff will also help with applying for financial aid, completing the FAFSA and applying for scholarships. Light refreshments will be available.
