Student Ambassadors Help Feed the City

Edgecombe Community College Student Ambassadors participated in Feed the City at Mount Zion First Baptist in Rocky Mount on December 12. The event was held to assist people who have been struggling to make ends meet during the pandemic. Approximately 2,000 individuals were fed during the event. From left are ECC Student Ambassadors Nahdia Sharp and Teresa Shackleford, Rocky Mount Mayor Sandy Roberson, and ECC Student Ambassador Kristy Claiborne. The ECC Foundation sponsors the Student Ambassador program each year to reward academic excellence.
