Students Learn about Career Options at ECC
Edgecombe Community College hosted high school students from Tarboro, SouthWest Edgecombe, North Edgecombe, and North East Carolina Preparatory School on Career and Technical Education (CTE) Day earlier this month. CTE Day is a career exploration event that highlights CTE programs at the college. Students enjoyed demonstrations in electronics, agribusiness, automotive technology, construction, welding, cosmetic arts, collision repair, health occupations, early childhood, information technology, geospatial technology, and criminal justice. Denise Batts (right), information technology studies instructor, was among the many faculty who participated.
