Surgical Technology Students Already Employed
Edgecombe Community College Surgical Technology Class of 2019 students recently participated in their pinning ceremony. From left are Caroline Paige Cobb, Lauren Baker, Jasmine Thomas, and Martha Riley Garris. These students will sit for the National Board for Surgical Technologists and Surgical Assistants Certification Exam after they complete the Surgical Technology degree in December. They have already completed requirements for the Surgical Technology diploma and are qualified to work in the field. All of the students are employed as surgical technologists in nearby healthcare facilities.
