The Tar River Players present Neil Simon’s “The Star-Spangled Girl”. The story involves roommates Andy and Norman who are running a magazine in San Francisco. When Sophie moves in next door, Norman falls for her. Andy hires Sophie to help with the magazine, leading to complications. Sophie faces unwanted advances while developing feelings for Andy, causing turmoil in their friendship and the magazine. Performances on May 3-5 and 11-12, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 pm.
