New EDGE Scholars Meet for Orientation

About 40 EDGE Scholarship recipients who will begin classes at Edgecombe Community College on August 22 attended orientation today on the Tarboro campus. Through the EDGE Scholarship, students with a 2.8 GPA in high school and who meet other criteria receive full funding at the level of in-state tuition – after all other sources of funding are exhausted. All of these EDGE Scholars are May 2019 graduates of Edgecombe County high schools. Shown with the EDGE Scholars is ECC President Dr. Greg McLeod (center).
