ECC Nursing Students Hold Coat Drive

ECC Barbering Receives Award

Officers Complete Crisis Intervention Training

Twenty-four law enforcement officers completed recent Crisis Intervention Team training at Edgecombe Community College. Agencies represented included the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office, Pinetops Police Department, Vidant Edgecombe Hospital Police, and Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, among others. EastPointe in Rocky Mount facilitated the class.

Honor Society Inducts 22 Students

Edgecombe Community College’s Alpha Omega Nu chapter of Phi Theta Kappa inducted 22 students into its membership during a November 16 induction ceremony held on the Tarboro campus. Recognizing that hunger is a serious issue in Eastern North Carolina, the Human Services Club at Edgecombe Community College recently collected and delivered eight boxes of food to the United Community Ministries Community Shelter in Rocky Mount. The Edgecombe Community College Foundation awarded scholarships to 157 ECC students during a scholarship awards ceremony held November 8 on the Tarboro campus.
