Unleash Your Inner Artist at ECC’s Spring Paint & Sip Fundraiser
The public is invited to unleash their inner artist during a Spring Paint and Sip Fundraiser happening Thursday, May 29 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the Tarboro campus of Edgecombe Community College. Expect an evening of art, fun and wine presented by the ECC Foundation. The cost for this 21 and up event is $50 per guest and will include art instruction, a canvas for each guest, painting supplies, snacks and three complimentary drink tickets.
“This fundraiser has a dual purpose. All of the money that we receive will support ECC students and the operations of the Foundation,” says Tameka Kenan-Norman, executive director of Public Information and Institutional Advancement. “While you are supporting a great cause, you can also mingle with friends and discover the pleasure of painting. Whether you are a novice or a skilled artist, this event is fun for everyone.”
The host and instructor, Carole Mehle-Bittner, will guide participants through an art piece displaying the beauty of spring flowers. The fundraiser will be held in Room 218 of the Fleming Building. Attendees are asked to reserve their seat by May 22. Payments may be sent to the Edgecombe Community College Foundation, 2009 W. Wilson St., Tarboro, NC 27886, or pay online.
