Accreditation

Edgecombe Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees. Edgecombe Community College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. State Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners, American Medical Association, the Committee on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP), Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM), National Association for the Education of Young Children, the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
