The National Guard Hazardous Response Team based in Greenville traveled to Edgecombe Community College recently for training. The team is one of 57 “small footprint” hazardous materials response teams across the nation. Among other training scenarios, team members conducted a search of Keihin Auditorium on the Tarboro campus.
Edgecombe Community College employees gathered on August 15 for an in-person fall semester kickoff for the first time since 2019 due to pandemic restrictions. Edgecombe County Sheriff Clee Atkinson provided keynote remarks and focused on leadership. “The big picture for ECC is building leaders for the next generation,” he told instructors and staff.
