Nurse Aide I Refresher Training (NUR3242) consists of review and testing to assess student knowledge and competency for Nurse Aide I. Each student must complete course with passing academic and attendance requirements.
Upon satisfactory completion of the course the student will be eligible for the written and skills competency evaluation, (National Nurse Aide Assessment Program, NNAAP). Upon successfully passing the NNAAP, written and skills portions, the student will be listed as a Nurse Aide I by the N.C. Division of Health Service Regulation.
Submission of documentation demonstrating one of the following academic requirements:
$130 (Additional costs for textbooks or uniforms.) Books are available in the bookstores and are needed the first day of class.
Upon successful completion of the class, students will have to take and pass the state CNA 1 exam (written and skills) in order to be listed on the NC State CNA 1 Registry. The current fee is $140 which will be paid after completion of the class.
