Edgecombe Community College and Pitt Community College Collaboration
TRiO-Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) is supported by a federally funded grant coordinated by the U.S. Department of Education for TRiO Programs. Outreach specialists work with learners to complete various services related to the college admissions process through graduation. Our goal is to promote equity among all learners. Come on, we’ve got this!

- Current Post-Secondary Learners

- Edgecombe Community College (Academic Success Center – Tarboro Campus)
- NC Works (Greenville, Rocky Mount, and Williamston)
Services
- Academic advice and assistance in course selection
- Assistance in preparing for college entrance examinations
- Assistance in completing college admission and financial aid applications
- Assistance with researching and educating learners on grants, scholarships, and loans
- Guidance on re-entering high school or High School Equivalency program
- Career assessment, exploration, and counseling
- Admission’s application transfer fee waivers
- College campus tours
- Education or counseling services designed to improve the financial and economic literacy of learners
- Information regarding defaulted student loans and assistance in reinstating Financial Aid eligibility
