The Adult High School Diploma program provides students the opportunity to complete the required courses to earn a High School Diploma. The distance learning courses are offered for the convenience and flexibility of working students. The program benefits students who did not complete high school and wish to attend college, pursue career advancement, enter the military, or gain the personal satisfaction of receiving their High School Diploma.
Edgecombe Community College’s Adult High School Diploma program is offered in collaboration with Edgecombe County Public Schools and awards fully accredited diplomas.

Graduation
Educational programming includes the following skills areas: basic academic skills, career skills, and digital skills. These educational opportunities enable students to become more independent, acquire employment skills, and contribute to the student’s ability to manage community, social, work, and personal adult responsibilities.
Edgecombe Community College works cooperatively with Tri-County Industries to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
Individuals who are interested in learning more about our programs can receive more information by calling or visiting the College and Career Readiness Center on the Rocky Mount campus. The Center is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday.

Graduation Requirements
Advising services are offered by the College and Career Readiness staff. Instructors provide new student orientation and follow up, and develop an individual study plan for each student.
